How does your work relate to the show theme?
About: Inner Worlds/Outer Forms is an exploration of the intricate relationship between the body and the mind. It examines how the physical forms depicted within artworks often serve as metaphors for the psychological states of the artists who create them. Through abstract and reality-blurring artworks, this exhibition delves into how our daily existences' physical and psychological states influence and reflect one another, offering viewers a dynamic space to contemplate the connection between our tangible and intangible selves.
Featuring a group of contemporary artists based in New York, this exhibition highlights the fresh voices in the art world who are using metaphysical, abstract, and dreamlike artworks to challenge and expand our perceptions of reality, merging bodily and mental experiences in innovative ways.
Inner Worlds/Outer Forms is an opportunity for audiences to engage with thought-provoking works that blur the boundaries between the physical and psychological, offering a new lens through which to view the complexities of human existence.
