Claudia Ullman

Claudia Ullman began to paint and write when she left a career in education. Modern haiku and the NY School of poetry influence Claudia’s work — restrained snapshots of objects and memories of places painted in oil and gouache. She is interested in simplifying and paring down. Claudia’s artwork has been included in a variety of shows across the country, and her poetry has appeared in journals. She lives in New York City where she raised her children.
