Collection: Moshood Adejare

Brooklyn-based artist Moshood, also known as Abiola, was born in Lagos. During his early years, he dreamed of becoming an astronaut or jet fighter, driven by a desire for heroism. He later realized that true heroism lies in positively influencing minds, leading him to embrace art as his medium. Growing up immersed in television, science fiction, and inspired by figures like Michael Jackson, Moshood developed a vision of alternative realities, blending abstract concepts with relatability. At Yaba College of Technology, he refined his craft, choosing materials like acrylics, cardboard, plywood, and large canvases to reflect the fast-paced nature of society and its collective pursuit of instant gratification.
