Saint Marks Arts is thrilled to announce our first exhibition of the new year: Future Capsule. A visionary exploration of the future through art. As we step into 2025, we invite artists to imagine and create works that encapsulate their vision of the art and culture of the future.
What is Future Capsule?
A future capsule is a metaphorical time capsule reimagined through art. Instead of preserving the past, we challenge artists to forecast the future. What will the art world look like in 2025 and beyond? Will it blend technology and tradition, or will it transcend physical form altogether? Will it be a bold utopia, or reflective of the challenges ahead?
This exhibit is about futurism, innovation, and vision. We’re looking for works that provoke thought, inspire, and redefine the possibilities of what art can be.
Exhibition Concept
The future is unwritten, and this show seeks to turn Saint Marks Arts into a gallery of possibilities. Expect pieces that incorporate new technologies alongside innovative takes on traditional mediums like painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and textile art. Whether your interpretation of the future is personal, political, utopian, dystopian, or entirely abstract, we want your voice in this conversation.
Questions to Spark Your Creativity:
• What will the art world celebrate in 2025?
• How will new technology shape artistic expression?
• What role will artists play in building or critiquing the world of tomorrow?
• What personal or cultural milestones do you foresee in your own future?
Open Call to Artists
We invite emerging and established artists to submit works in any medium, including:

• Sculpture
